The Kurukshetra Division, Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board is engaged in executing the development works of 7 Market Committees which includeds 7 Principal Yards, 7 Sub-yards and 10 purchase centers. The principal yards are Thanesar, Pehowa, Ismailabad, Shahabad, Babain, Pipli, Ladwa N.G.M. The sub-yard is Kirmach, Gumthla Garhu, Ajrana Kalan, Malikpur Bhoresaidan Jhansa & Thol.

In the various Mandies/Sub-Yards also the development work like additional facilities, repairs of roads./ platforms and construction of covered sheds etc. for Rs. 542.92 Lac have been approved on which an expenditure of Rs. 328.34 has been incurred during the period July, 1999 to October, 10/2000

The H.S.A.M. Board is constructing village roads since 1988. Since the oath taking of the present government i.e. July, 1999, the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Haryana announced 137 new link Roads under the program of Sarkar Apke Dwar out of which 111 link roads were sanctioned with a total length of 231.05 kms. with an estimated cost of Rs. 2050 lacs 14 No. link roads already exist either constructed by the PWD (B &R) or by HSAM Board and needs their repair etc. Remaining proposals could not be implemented due to the reason that consolidation path was not available against 231.05 KM Length. The earth work has been completed on 170 KM and metalling has also been done on 31 KMS. Total expenditure of amounting to Rs. 294.34 lacs has been incurred upto 31.10.2000. Besides this repair of 73 roads with a total length of 122.70 KM and with an estimated cost of Rs. 452.34 lacs has been sanctioned during this period. Out of which 48 link roads with a total length of 58.65 km has been repaired upto 31.10.2000 and total expenditure of amounting to Rs., 129.04 lacs has been incurred.
