PWD (B&R) PROVINCIAL DIVISION NO.2
The total length
of the roads under PWD (B&R) Provincial Division No.2, Kurukshetra is 936
Kilometer out of which the length of State roads is 143 Kilometer, length of
district roads is 44 Kilometers and the length of the rural roads is 749
Kilometers. All the said road falls under Kurukshetra district. The repairing
work done by the provincial division on these roads is given as under: -

An amount of
Rs.544.53 lacs has been spent on the above mentioned works during the year
1999-2000 out of which a sum of Rs. 417.70 lacs has been spent on repair of
roads, Rs.42.13 lacs have been spent for improvement of roads, Rs. 16.59 lacs
for construction of new roads and Rs.68.11 lacs have been spent for the
construction of Teokar culvert.
