This district has 2762 registered small scale units having a fixed investment of approximately Rs. 182 crores and providing employment to approximately 10382 persons.

Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has developed an Industrial Estate in Sector 2, Kurukshetra where in 93 plots of various sizes(81 plots of 525 Sq. Mtr. & 12 plots of 1000 Sq. Mtr. have been carved out. Out of these, 86 plots have been allotted to the entrepreneurs for setting up of their industries
.
Future Plans
To facilitate the setting up of industries, a proposal for declaring additional lands measuring about 700 acres situated on main Highways as Industrial Zone have been sent to the State Government for approval.
